XMAS SALE: make this Christmas unforgettable! For women | For men
Following Microsoft’s announcement to reduce support for Internet Explorer 11 even further, along with their recommendation to switch to Microsoft Edge, we, too, have now decided not to support this browser any longer. This was a conscious decision, on the one hand in order to protect you and your data, and on the other to ensure that we can implement new technologies that Internet Explorer 11 does not support.

Further Questions

  • Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve an article in our online shop.

  • We do not currently have a gift service. It is therefore not possible for us to send a package without the invoice being contained within the package for gift purposes.

  • Our models are generally only available in limited numbers. If demand for a particular model is unexpectedly high, it may well be that they sell out very quickly.

Our collection comprises a total of more than 800 different products. Each store or authorised retailer puts together a range that consists of a representative selection of these products which is best suited to local demand and available storage capacity. For this reason, it is entirely possible that one retailer will sell out of certain products, while another dealer may still have stock available.

  • Tips for your excursion: these are the reasons why hiking boots are important

What a fabulous idea – hiking from sunrise to sunset, taking a break from everyday life in the countryside. Beginners should look to get the right equipment before setting off on their first major trekking trip. This does not have to be an all-in adventure package. Nevertheless, it does include a good pair of hiking boots when the path suddenly gets rougher and the hike lasts several hours.
The reason for this is simple enough. You’ll be significantly more comfortable and safer with the right hiking boots. Suitable footwear will prevent you from getting blisters, and you won’t twist your ankle, which may be the case in trainers, for instance. This is due to a specially treaded sole and the fact that the footwear is shaped in a particular way. More key information on choosing the right footwear is available in our hiking footwear guide.

    More tips on outdoor equipment

Besides appropriate footwear, a suitable backpack is one of the most important pieces of equipment for your next outdoor adventure. Beginners, too, will soon manage to pack their trekking backpack correctly with the help of a couple of basic tips. Essentially, this means: heavy items at the bottom or close to the back, important items at the top or in separate compartments. Then everything is packed away safely and yet is quick and easy to access without have to dig deep. More tips and detailed information are available in our guide on “Packing a backpack” .

When the trip is over: wash waterproof clothing

You’ve just got back from a great trip. However, has your trip taken its toll on your shoes and clothing? Never mind. It doesn’t take much effort to wash even waterproof clothing. And it’s not difficult to clean and, where necessary, reproof your shoes.
It goes without saying that you’ll find suitable environmentally friendly care products for footwear and outdoor clothing from Jack Wolfskin. Our service guides will give you further tips on what you should look out for. For example, as far as taking care of your shoes is concerned. Or tips on waterproofing waterproof clothing.

  • As a responsible brand, we have been committed for years to upholding our own comprehensive list of prohibited chemicals, and only bringing non-toxic products onto the market.
In addition, we became a bluesign® system partner in 2011 in order to limit our use of chemicals right from the manufacturing process of materials.

We are the only outdoor brand to have joined the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals group and, furthermore, we are implementing a “joint roadmap” together with other companies and industries in order to achieve zero emissions of harmful chemicals by 2020.

  • PPE is the abbreviation for protective equipment taken along on a trip or worn on the body. These types of products can be found in our collection – for example sunglasses, gloves and also outdoor clothing which provides UV protection. According to a new EU provision, we are obligated as of now to publish a declaration of conformity for personal protective equipment. This essentially means putting the fact that our products comply with EU legislation in writing on our website. This declaration follows an inspection in line with the EC technical release certificate, which examines the product according to the required specifications.

Find everything concerning PPE and relevant downloadable files here.

  • All materials that Jack Wolfskin uses for their products are selected from an ethical point of view and produced as sustainably as possible.
We show which criteria we use to select these here.

  • There is a narrow label bearing a seven-digit product number behind the care label. Directly below the product number, there is a combination of several numbers and letters – the first two figures of this combination are the year of production. This information helps our customer service to process enquiries.

The respective product name of our apparel does not appear on the products. The label which features the article number is usually located at the side seam or in one of the jacket pockets.

On some of our products from the equipment range, there is also a product name directly below the Jack Wolfskin logo.

The size label is located inside the shoe (usually on the inside of the tongue).

info: on the invoice and in the shopping cart, you will find the 5 or 7-digit article number, which follows the colour code (usually 4-digits) separated by a hyphen and then a 3-digit size code.
